WEEKDAY CLASSES commence Monday 8^th September
and follow the school term,
ending on 19^th December.

NEW THIS AUTUMN!
MODERN/JAZZ DANCE CLASSES

These will be held on Saturday afternoons to alternate with Chorus Line. There will be two sessions, Juniors and Seniors, with a lower age limit of 7 years. Classes will be taken by Helena Barnard who has had many years experience in this field, and although ballet training is helpful, classes are also suitable for beginners.

Junior Session 2.00 – 3.00 Senior Session 3.00 – 4.00

Class fees are £5.00 per session, payable half termly in advance.

THE CHORUS LINE

We will be continuing the Musical Theatre Syllabus during workshop sessions for both Junior and Senior groups on alternate Saturday afternoons. The lower age limit for this group is 7 years.

ADULT CLASSES

Ballet and Tap continue as last year.
Classes are held on Monday evenings at Christ College, Brecon
and are informal and fun – why not give it a try!

A professional video/DVD has been made of this year's show priced £18.50.
If you wish to order a copy please add your name to the order list at the desk.

FINALLY SOME REMINDERS

If you are buying new uniform this term, PLEASE make sure you label this with your child’s name. This is vital with kit that is taken off during class, e.g. ballet and tap shoes and crossovers.

Please note that the pink ballet skirts are clearly labelled HAND WASH ONLY. If these are machine washed, then the hems are likely to become unravelled.

Ribbons Hoodies are available again in pink for children and black for teenagers/adult sizes. These have proved very popular and are very warm for the winter.

If you have an email address, please can you let me have this for correspondence.

SATURDAY CLASSES. Please note that the only rooms which I hire at the theatre are the Studio and Dressing Room 4. It is inappropriate for children to be changing in any other areas of the theatre, especially the foyer and bar, which are open to the public.

Can I please ask parents to register their child at the desk on Saturday mornings when they arrive for class, as for Health & Safety reasons it is important that we know who is in the building. If reception is busy when you arrive, please would you sign your child in using the register on the desk.

There are now waiting lists in operation for Saturday ballet classes, and therefore if your child is not going to attend in future, could you please let me know so that I can give that place to another child. If I have not heard from you, and your child does not attend for three consecutive weeks, I will assume that he/she is no longer attending and the place will be given to someone else.

Primary School children Years 5 and 6 2.30 – 3.30

Senior Session (Secondary school children) 3.30 – 4.45

There will be no price increase this term in class fees which will remain at £5.00 per session for Juniors
and £6.00 per session for Seniors, payable by half term in advance.

RIBBONS ANNUAL SHOW
